Their Instant Pay app provides earned wage access for employees at mid- to large-sized organisations to improve their financial wellness and to increase employee engagement and productivity.


With many workers living paycheck to paycheck, financial wellness tools are an important part of any employee benefits package. Our client gives employees access to the money that they have already earned whenever they need or want it, without needing to wait for the month-end paycheck.; The service is mobile app-based, very easy and intuitive to use. There’s a small transaction fee and no interest to pay, a much healthier solution than payday loans or bank overdrafts with their exorbitant charges.


Our client’s ultimate mission is to help people attain financial freedom, which starts with giving people full control over their income. 



ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for an HR Business Partner who has experience in high growth companies, a passion for people and an analytical mindset who can evaluate what is already in place and start to build a foundation for growth with the company. The ideal candidate will be able to identify gaps and areas for improvement and to lead and champion the very best working experience for all our employees.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Function as a business partner to key Company leaders and their respective organizations; engage in strategic planning.

Translate business needs into HR plans, and coach and mentor at leadership at all levels in the organization.

Lead the annual HR efforts relating to Talent and Performance Management, Compensation Management, Succession Planning, and Leadership Development.

Drive actions, including change, to continuously increase the capability of the organization

Partner with demanding stakeholders on all aspects of HR to ensure HR genuinely adds value.

Challenge the status quo and prove how HR can help achieve the culture shift and transformation required to improve communication and knowledge sharing.

Build management capability through coaching and expanding our client’s people strategy.

Partner with the recruitment team to help ensure top talent is brought into the business and help drive the business forward. Helping to oversee recruitment and selection and owning the onboarding process.

Maintain HR operational functions such as HRIS system management, payroll, and compliance with all government regulations.

Manage the employee off-boarding process by conducting exit interviews and launching the exit process.

The company is going through a period of growth and there will be restructure. Some experience in these areas would be valuable.



WORK EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS:

 5+ years of progressive HR experience in a high growth environment (tech / startup preferred) 

 Experience in the development and administration of HR compensation plans

 Experience assessing management and executive talent

 Experience leading HR practices for a specific location

 Evidence of having added value in the role within a fast-paced private sector organization preferably within a tech environment.

 A passion for engagement and being able to evidence having improved employee experience through the introduction of new initiatives.

 Highly organized, with a warm and collaborative communication style.

 Strong emotional intelligence with a warm inner confidence and the ability to engage.

 A positive thinker who is creative and innovative, with the communication skills to gain buy into new initiatives.
