Their highly ambitious executive management recognize the potential of these products and intend to accelerate growth further with the appointment of a talented VP of Sales & Marketing for USA Market.

 

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our client is looking for a relationships builder with a “getting things done” attitude, a customer-focused (B2B) and result-oriented entrepreneur, solutions thinker, creative in spotting new business opportunities, the ideal candidate will be an excellent sales manager and negotiator: A deal market!

 

This role will lead Business Development activities through partner interactions, presenting opportunities, leading contract negotiations, identifying and detailing opportunities to potential partners, acting as the company's liaison with the partner, and managing the relationship post transaction.

 

KEY RESPONSABILITIES 

  • Direct and coordinate company sales and marketing functions.
  • Develop and coordinate sales selling cycle and methodology.
  • Direct and oversee the company marketing function to identify and develop new customers for products and services.
  • Research and develop strategies and plans which identify marketing opportunities, direct marketing, and new project development.
  • Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results.
  • Develop thorough understanding of product markets, customer's needs and buying decisions translated into the product value proposition.
  • Oversee forecasts, competitive intelligence, and strategic market assessment. 
  • Monitor competitive activity and develop appropriate tactics to respond.
  • Translating market needs into new opportunities of growth.
  • Develop proposals and term sheets for prospects, negotiating and closing new B2B accounts.
  • Participate in the development of strategic partnerships, joint ventures and alliances. Represent the brand at all external events, trade shows and seminars.

 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND ATTITUDE

 

  • +8 years of successful selling, sales management and marketing experience in the US as well as successful development and launch of new products within the specialty ingredients markets. 
  • Deep customer knowledge and strong relationships with key decision makers, particularly in the areas of - health nutrition, dietary supplements and nutraceuticals. Ability to translate market knowledge into growth strategies and a proven track record in identifying licensing opportunities.
  • Strong negotiation skills and proven track record in developing key accounts and referral business.
  • Ability to successfully manage external accounts and internal relationships required to execute licensing transactions.
  • True brand ambassador with an entrepreneurial spirit and a intuition to detect growth & sales opportunities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (speak fluent English)
  • Advanced level of Spanish is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel in the US & abroad.
