ABOUT THE ROLE:
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
● Lead multiple global engineering teams – Work with the Product Management leads and their direct reports, plus Business, Design, & Engineering counterparts, to create the product roadmap, vision, and strategy that will allow us to scale to 5M+ users
● Develop squad goals & roadmaps - Work with squad leads to define their key KPIs and help them prioritize the roadmaps that will enable them to blow past those KPIs. You will also be responsible for tracking progress of the teams towards those KPIs
● Experiment & learn – Design & execute experiments to validate or invalidate hypotheses that are critical to the development and execution of our product strategy. When we make a product bet, we will rely on you to help us quickly assess whether or not the solution is worth pursuing at scale
● Voice of the customer - explore and learn how and why customers (both employees and employers) engage with our client. Become their voice and represent their needs throughout the development process
● Define features – Work closely with our product teams to develop new features and workflows that help unlock the potential of all teams to deliver more value to our customers
Champion transparency – Champion the product roadmap to internal and external stakeholders
WORK EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS:
● 10+ years of experience building and shipping products at leading fintech or software startups
● 5+ years experience as a manager of product managers, responsible for shipping widely-used customer-facing products on mobile
● Experience simultaneously running multiple projects through the full app development life-cycle
● Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
● Passion for the fintech industry
● Ability to collaborate and build trust with product managers, engineers, designers, data scientists, credit & risk teams, and operations teams
● Ability to think creatively and approach problems with system-level thinking
● Ability to independently initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance and high speed of execution
● Excellent analytical skills and experience with AB testing
● Ability to communicate concisely and influence outcomes
