ABOUT THE ROLE

We are searching for a Site Reliability Engineer. This is a hands-on position that will work with the broader development team, building the tooling to ensure observability and uptime of the ecommerce website stack.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

● Develop the tooling and processes to ensure critical technology uptime

● Collect and analyse metrics to understand and ensure exceptional end user website experience

● Work with other teams to help remove website performance and quality issues

● Provide a 2nd line escalation for any website issues

WORK EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS:

● Python and JavaScript knowledge.

●Deep understanding of AWS services, IaC and CI/CD processes

● Docker monitoring and performance metrics gathering

● Experience with observability/monitoring tools such as Graphana, Splunk, NewRelic, Datadog as well as AWS CloudWatch

● Azure or GCP experience, preferred 

● Pulumi experience, preferred
