ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a Senior Sales Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and driving sales activities for their Product in Spain. You will be expected to penetrate and build new business by identifying and selling prospects; maintaining relationships with clients.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
● Managing prospective client relationships through all phases of the sales cycle
● Creating new business opportunities through in-depth conversations and relationship
building
● Identifying business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position
in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options
● Conducting one-on-one and group sales presentations
● Tracking customer information, forecasts, and reports
● Developing and maintaining prospect and customer lists based on strategic marketing
data and other sources for sales leads
● Consistent and documented track record for achieving monthly/quarterly/annual
target metrics
● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with revenue deadlines
● Work to constantly improve standard sales practices, workflows, and systems to scale
the business and ensure customers and potential partners receive the best possible
experience
● Identifying product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry
trends, market activities, and competitors
● Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information
● Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
WORK EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
● +5/10 years of experience
● Must come from the Consumer Goods & Retail industry
● The ideal candidate will understand the dynamic between the retailer and manufacturer, understands trade promotions and what it entails to put together a pricing plan, or trade promotion plan, etc.
● Strong presentation, communication skills, and negotiation skills
● Proven experience and relationships in the CPG industry
● Experience working understanding of pricing and trade promotions methodologies
● Is a must: Enthusiasm for new technologies
● High attention to detail and desire to “roll-up your sleeves” and solve problems at root cause; willingness to execute with minimal people resources at an early stage of business
● Influence without authority, skilled operator, superior presentation skills
● Ability to make informed decisions and act within a dynamic, fast-paced environment
● Desirable: Person who comes from SaaS sales
● Experience with Nielsen, IRI, Hubspot, LinkedIn, Zoom, is a bonus
