Their Instant Pay app provides earned wage access for employees at mid- to large-sized organisations to improve their financial wellness and to increase employee engagement and productivity.


With many workers living paycheck to paycheck, financial wellness tools are an important part of any employee benefits package. Our client gives employees access to the money that they have already earned whenever they need or want it, without needing to wait for the month-end paycheck.; The service is mobile app-based, very easy and intuitive to use. There’s a small transaction fee and no interest to pay, a much healthier solution than payday loans or bank overdrafts with their exorbitant charges.


Our client’s ultimate mission is to help people attain financial freedom, which starts with giving people full control over their income. 



ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a  VP of Growth you will be responsible for establishing and scaling the company's European Growth Team, driving strategy, setting priorities, creating and expanding capabilities, growing a world-class team, and delivering on ambitious customer acquisition and revenue goals. You will grow the company’s customer and revenue base by working at the intersection of business, technology, big data, analytics, and marketing. You will have executive accountability for all digital performance marketing channels, including paid search, SEO, paid social media, display advertising, retargeting, affiliate marketing as well as analytics and insights. You will also spearhead all the CRM and Communications/Public Relations activities. You will work with the company’s executive team to set its long-term growth strategies and guide its growth trajectory to new inflexion points.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Set and execute the strategy for new customer acquisition (with focus on SMB employers and consumers), customer engagement and customer lifetime value growth, deliver on growth and scaling ambitions of the European business

Understand European customer needs and competitive landscape and articulate the company’s compelling value proposition for target customers, set and track brand metrics

Build up the team and lead operations to acquire and engage customers through all relevant digital channels, incl. Social, Search, Display, Affiliates

Build up the team and lead operations to engage customers and scale their solution adoption through targeted, relevant and timely communications (CRM) through all available channels

In partnership with Engineering, build-out/adopt the necessary marketing technology and data infrastructure and partnerships to enable scaled and ROI-positive marketing investment. Partner with the company’s marketing operations in other regions (USA, India, LatAm) in this regard

Drive innovative and engaging communications and PR strategy, increasing awareness of, consideration for and positive sentiment toward the company brand

Produce and design content (in-house and through any partnerships) to support all marketing and communications activities

Set up and direct local in-country marketing and partnerships activities for priority markets



WORK EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS:

Proven marketing and growth leader with 15+ yrs of professional experience and track record of success in scaling digital ventures, new customer acquisition and geographic expansion with a focus on B2C, B2b (SMBs) or B2B2C business models

Extensive experience leading build-out and operation of digital marketing and CRM channels and activities, incl. creation/acquisition of required technology and data solutions

Savvy and effective in articulating brand positioning and value proposition, creating content and leveraging all communications and PR channels

Experience of operating in a regulated environment (incl. financial services) is a plus

A charismatic and experienced people leader capable of attracting, training, motivating and retaining exceptional marketing talent across Europe

Fluent in English, other European languages a plus
