Their Instant Pay app provides earned wage access for employees at mid- to large-sized organisations to improve their financial wellness and to increase employee engagement and productivity.


With many workers living paycheck to paycheck, financial wellness tools are an important part of any employee benefits package. Our client gives employees access to the money that they have already earned whenever they need or want it, without needing to wait for the month-end paycheck.; The service is mobile app-based, very easy and intuitive to use. There’s a small transaction fee and no interest to pay, a much healthier solution than payday loans or bank overdrafts with their exorbitant charges.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for an experienced and result-driven Digital Marketing Director to join and build from scratch the company’s European digital marketing team. As a Director of Digital Marketing you will be responsible for building, setting up, implementing and managing the overall company's digital marketing strategy. 


Digital marketing will be at the heart of the company’s go-to-market strategy so you will play a crucial role in enabling the business to achieve its ambitious goals and objectives. 


You must be an experienced digital marketer, passionate about your craft and on top of all the latest digital marketing best practices, strategies and tools. You will have hands-on mastery of getting ROI-positive results out Search, Social, Display, Affiliates, Mobile activities and campaigns.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Set and execute the strategy for new customer acquisition and activation (with focus on SMB employers and consumers/employees), deliver an ambitious growth and scaling goals of the European business

Set up and lead operations to acquire and engage customers through all relevant digital channels, incl. Social, Search, Display, Affiliates. Build up the team as the business scales and needs emerge

In partnership with Engineering, build-out/adopt the necessary marketing technology and data infrastructure and partnerships to enable scaled and ROI-positive marketing investment. Partner with the company’s marketing operations in other regions (USA, India, LatAm) in this regard

Collaborate with and leverage in-country marketing and partnerships managers in priority markets



WORK EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS:

Proven digital marketing leader with 10+ yrs of professional experience and track record of success in scaling digital ventures, new customer acquisition and geographic expansion with focus on B2C, B2b (SMBs) or B2B2C business models

Extensive experience leading build-out and operation of digital marketing channels and activities, incl. creation/acquisition of required technology and data solutions

Experience of operating in a regulated environment (incl. financial services) is a plus

A charismatic and experienced people leader capable of attracting, training, motivating and retaining exceptional digital marketing talent across Europe, selecting and getting the best out of digital marketing agencies and partners

Fluent in English, other European languages a plus
